Sunshine Girl on a Rainy Day

The Interviews

Now that I have established a career and a family, I am returning to my passion, which is to make a lasting, positive impact on foster care.

As a free-lance journalist, I am currently research and planning a series of articles. My dual goals are to increase public awareness and to publicize resources for foster alumni, who might not be aware of available resources.

I am currently interviewing agencies involved with the foster care system and/or services to foster alumni.

Setting up an interview with Lisa

I am available to provide interviews and workshops. I welcome opportunities to share with foster children, foster alumni and the general public. I am currently being considered as a candidate for the keynote at the 2006 Pathways to Adulthood National Independent Living / Transitional Living Conference.

To schedule an interview or workshop, please email me.

Radio interview with Lisa

n November 1999, I visited Radio U, a Christian radio station in Columbus, Ohio, to share my experience of growing up in foster care and how I ended up starting college when I was sixteen years old.
